Contracts 101:
About Lesson
  1. The contract is a legally binding document. 
  2. We can only write a contract with someone who has a legal interest in the property. 
  3. All parties who have a legal interest in the property should be included on the contract. 
  4. Be sure that we have the customers names spelled properly (Owners Name)
  5. The address where the customer resides is the the customers address, (Owners Address)
  6. The address where the project is being performed is the project address.(Project Address)
  7. Specifications: Include a well defined scope of work (SEE SAMPLE PRODUCT CONTRACTS/AND PRODUCT DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENTS) 
  8. Include a price for each product being sold within the body of the contract.  SEE EXAMPLE CONTRACT ATTACHED TO THIS LESSON
  9. Select the customers warranty.
  10. Price in full for the contract. (All product prices added together)
  11. Deposit- The goal is to receive 1/2 down at time of signing, 1/2 down will be required prior to the commencement of any project.  Window Commencement = Measure, Roof commencement= scheduling, Siding commencement=the ordering of any product.
