The Avalon Sales Representative is an independent, commission-based professional responsible for generating and closing residential and commercial roofing and exterior projects. This role focuses on meeting with customers, identifying needs, presenting clear solutions, and guiding projects from initial contact through signed agreement.
Sales representatives are expected to operate with professionalism, integrity, and accountability while representing the Avalon brand in the field. Success in this role comes from strong communication, accurate documentation, consistent follow-through, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience on every project.

Team members will learn how leads move through the sales process—from initial contact and qualification to discovery, proposal, follow-up, and close. Pass the Salesperson Exam:
You must register with PSI and pass the exam administered by them.

When you register it will ask you for your: MI_Builder_ID_Number- this is your Social Security Number.
Find a Sponsor:
You’ll need a licensed Residential Builder or Maintenance and Alteration (M&A) contractor to sponsor your application.
(In your case your application will be sponsored by Avalon’s licensed builder)
Application Submission:
The sponsoring builder or M&A contractor will submit the application for your salesperson license.
(In your case your application will be submitted by Avalon)
The application will be submitted to LARA (Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs).
