“Hi, my name is Anthony, and I’m stopping by because I just left Mr. Smith’s house. I just helped them with shingles that they have missing. I couldn’t help but notice that your roof is starting to show its age. When was the last time you had your roof inspected and routine
maintenance conducted?”
- “How old is your roof?”
- “What are your concerns with the roof?”
- “How long do you plan on living in the home?
- “Have you noticed these issues on your roof?” (If you can get them out, point out
what you are seeing) - “How long have you owned the home?”
“Mr. Williams I would hate to see you incur any further water damage in your home from the issues we are seeing up there, in particular the missing shingles. My Estimator will be in the area around this time tomorrow, does 1 pm or 3 pm work better for you?”
“Are there any other decision makers in the home and does this time work for them as well?”
“Perfect, thank you. So, I have you down for tomorrow at 3 pm, and this doesn’t interfere with any other plans you have? Great, let me just confirm the proper spelling of your name & address. What is the best phone number so my scheduling department can get a hold of you if anything comes up?”
“Thank you, Mr. Johnson. Since this is for our next scheduled day, I want to lock that spot in for you. I am going to call the scheduler right now to confirm the details and get you on the schedule.”
“When the estimator arrives, please invite him in. He will introduce himself and let you know that he’s with Avalon Roofing & Exteriors. He will be taking some measurements, completing an inspection, and showing you those results as well as the solutions. Please make sure to have any questions ready for them and to let Mrs. Smith know about the appointment. We look forward to helping you find a solution, thank you and have a great day!”
