Objective of Field Marketing
Field Marketing Door Knocking Objectives:
- Interacting with as many homeowners as possible in an effort to set a lead.
- Leave behind door hangers/marketing materials on every door where you are unable to interact with a homeowner in an effort to have them call in to set a lead. Make sure your name is on them.
This is an example of one of the door hangers we leave at every house. The right picture is the front where you will put your name, and the left picture is the back. By leaving behind a door hang, this allows the customer to call in for their needs and wants, AND with your name attached, this will give you that part commission on the job with part demo bonus as well.
The top picture is the front side of the doorhanger in which the bottom right-hand corner is where your name will go. The bottom picture is what the back of the door hanger will look it.
Definition of a lead: A person who is interested in interacting with the company for the purpose of purchasing a service.
Types of Lead
Appointment set:
The customer has agreed to a day and time for a representative to come to their home to perform an inspection and provide an estimate for repair.
When you set an appointment, make sure you set it during our standard appointment times. (Mondays have NO 9 am available due to our sales meetings for the reps. and Friday evening there is NO 7 pm to give them an evening off)
MON: 11AM 1PM 3PM 5PM 7PM
TUE-THURS: 9AM 11AM 1PM 3PM 5PM 7PM
FRI: 9AM 11AM 1PM 3PM 5PM
SAT: 10AM 12PM 2PM
These times are very important! Appointments MUST be set at the times above.
By chance, the homeowner can not make these times and wants a different time in between appointment times, then it MUST be CALLED IN to the office and confirmed with management.
Call to set:
The customer has agreed to have someone call out from the phone room to set a time for a representative to come to their home to perform an inspection and provide an estimate for repair.
Customer Call In:
Either your interaction with the customer or the door hanger you left behind was the procuring cause of the customer call-in.
(AGAIN, this is why you write your name on door hangers in the lower left-hand corner)
